Scale Modelling Manual Vol.17 - Creating a Super Detailed Vietnam Diorama

This is the 17th Manual in our ‘Scale Modelling’ series where our aim is to bring a lot of detailed information about painting and general modelling techniques for all modellers. The books have high quality photos and detailed texts, enabling readers to easily follow the progress of assembly and painting methods, and help adopt new modelling techniques and different approaches.

This issue has 36 pages, instead of the usual 24, and with about 100 pictures, we’re covering a Vietnam War Diorama in Detail, along with a lot of historical information and interesting data. The artist took the “opportunity” of remaining in house for some time in 2019/2020 because of the Covid-19 and created a Super Detailed diorama in all aspects. Martin reveals all his techniques and approaches for how to make an interesting and realistic diorama. He divided the whole work into six parts so the reader will follow the creation and design sequence easier.

In total this book has about 100 high quality photos, 88 of which are step-by-step or in-progress sequences, with a very detailed text, so the reader can easily follow the whole procedure in detail from start to finish. The author has included all the sets, materials, accessories, and paint codes he used so the reader can easily identify them.
